Our 2nd Annual Sustaining our Sounds Community Gala!
This past Saturday October 3rd, we were stoked to host and share our 2nd annual Sustaining our Sounds with our community! While an important annual fundraiser for GRP, the gala once again was a beautiful experience of song, #youthrising, dancing, multimedia experience. A true testament to the large community base we have grown and built together!
The program included... --youth performances from U-TURN, HORRRORMONES, & BADDIEZ. --beautiful community performances from Mixed People, Little Strike, Wizard Apprentice, Rhetta Morgan, and DJ Halfbreed. --testimonials from youth and parents
The experience brought many elements, including... --auctions, including singed Sleater-Kinney vinyl and a 10 -ticket pass to any R5 Productions show --exciting new merch! --open bar thanks to Yard Brewery Co. and Pescatore --buffet of food and treats! --raffles
The night featured special drops including... --summer camp youth & teen mixtape online release! (click to listen!) --special Sustaining our Sounds exclusive design, thanks to artist Lucy Gleysteen!
