To our beloved rock camp community & Extended Supporters,
We’ll be honest. Pivoting from the Pandemic, staff changes, and capacities have been a hurdle in programming. Last year, 3 months after hiring our new Program Director, we had our first in-person camp since the pandemic. While we served what may have been the smallest amount of youth in a long time, we did it with energy, joy, and heart.
Moving on since then, we have been working to do more in after-school programming, virtual programming, and soon our Adult Rock Camp, C.A.R.E Lab, and a music entrepreneurship series among many other things.
Our fundraising efforts took a hit and we are climbing to hit our goals again to be able to offer more spaces for liberation for all bodies we get the opportunity to serve. Those are our girls, our trans youth, our gender-expansive and queer folks, our women, and every person who has and continues to call GRP home.
As we move forward with name changes, programming, and future staffing, we need your support now more than ever.
