2015 YOUTH Rock Camp!

AHHH!

Over 60 youth ranging ages 9-12, Over 50 volunteers Over 12 bands, and 1 DJ crew– to eventually record at Miller Street Records and perform at Impact Hub!

ALL AFTER OUR FIRST CAMP SESSION WITH OUR TEENS -- CRAZY, RIGHT?!

This week featured special workshops including: Gender Haha!, Punk Rock Aerobics, Science of Sound, Safety & Self-defense, Hip Hop Freestyle, Screening Band Art, Yoga, Poet-tree in Motion: Performance Preparation: Conversation on Janelle Monae's Queen music video about race, gender and sisterhood

As well as lunch time performance from amazing local artists including: Fake Boyfriend, The Original Crooks and Nannies, Girl's Rock Philly's very own Lunchbande & Remembering Amnesia, Mary Lattimore, Ximena Violante from Interminable and Son Revoltura, & Mixed People!
